A Little History About Us!
Our Great Grandpa, B.J. started B.J. Maurer Ford back in 1924 right here in Boswell, Pennsylvania. After being in the military and fighting in WWI, B.J. and his brother did a cross country road trip in a Ford Model T. After overcoming many obstacles along the way and MANY unforgettable stories to tell... they finally made it back to Boswell where B.J. would soon start his first Ford store; B.J. Maurer Ford.
As you may know, in 1928-29 is when the Great Depression took place; Just 4 years after starting the Ford garage. This called for many sacrifices to be made in order to keep the business afloat. We are very glad that he was able to push through the tough times because to this day, we are now recognized as ONE OF THE OLDEST FORD DEALERS IN THE WORLD! We are very proud to be able to uphold this accomplishment and we give all thanks to our customers past, present, and future.
Our Grandpa B.J.'s Mission Statement is the same as it is today: "Quality Cars and Quality Service to all of our customers 100% of the time!"
